Our Vision

The Combat Wounded Coalition's Vision is to Ensure Every Wounded Warrior Realizes Their Full Potential

Our Mission

The Combat Wounded Coalition's mission is to inspire our wounded warriors to Overcome
We accomplish this through direct programs and connections to other vetted organizations that support them through Pride, Power Purpose and Peace. Another CWC mission is to provide clothing modifications and Wounded Wear, a unique line of apparel for wounded warriors and patriots to support our wounded warriors. We also honor families of the fallen with opportunities to participate in events with our heroes.

Who We Serve

The Combat Wounded Coalition provides program services to combat wounded warriors who have received the Purple Heart, veterans injured in the line of duty while training for combat operations and warriors diagnosed with PTSD and TBI directly linked back to combat operations.

Families of the Fallen

The Combat Wounded Coalition's Families of the Fallen Program, as part of its mission, is committed to providing support to families of service members killed during combat operations or during hostilities against the United States, and to families of service members who died from complications from injuries received during combat operations, or during hostilities against the United States, to include accidents and exposures. In addition, we provide support for families of service members killed during training missions in preparation for combat operations, and families of service members lost to suicide, due to post traumatic stress after service in DOD-identified combat theaters.

Due to the focused scope of our mission we do not have the resources to support families of service members who died as result of natural death, crime, routine military training, accidents, illness or suicide not directly linked to combat experience. The CWC is currently developing our programs to support Families of the Fallen. If you are a family of the fallen, meet our criteria above, and are interested in learning more about programs the Combat Wounded Coalition is currently developing please contact us.

Words from our Heroes

Thank you so much for the amazing package! It was much more than I could have ever asked for, rest assured I will wear my Wounded Wear with pride!

The Combat Wounded Coalition™ is a Non-Profit Organization (Tax ID – 27-0426467) that inspires combat wounded warriors to Overcome through four program pillars - PridePowerPurpose  and Peace.  The Combat Wounded Coalition (CWC) provides free Wounded Wear™ clothing and clothing modifications to combat wounded warriors as part of our Pride program as well as raising national awareness of the sacrifice that built our nation.  The Power Pillar is built around demonstrating to our warriors that despite there injuries there are no limitations.  We do this by pushing them outside their comfort zones through signature events like Jumping for a Purpose where we take our warriors and care givers skydiving.  Additionally, through our Power program, we are always looking for other vetted partner organizations to get our warriors back out, living greatly and overcoming the physical and invisible wounds of war.

Our last two pillars are built to help our combat wounded warriors discover Purpose in their new lives, and ultimately, find Peace. CWC believes the greatest gift we can give our warriors coming home is to help them find their new Purpose after military service and the impact of war.  We will accomplish this through our initial warrior database questionnaire as program recipients identify needs under our Four Pillar Pipeline.  Whether it is, outdoor empowering activities, housing support, education support, or employment support, the Combat Wounded Coalition will help make connections through our database, to vetted and proven For-Profit and Non-Profit organizations who can help fulfill these needs.  Our last Pillar is to help our warriors find Peace from the invisible wounds of war by identifying individuals looking for mental health support and connect them to key national organizations that are providing ground breaking non-pharmacological treatments to help them fight against Traumatic Brain Injuries and Post Traumatic Stress.

Lastly, the Combat Wounded Coalition has developed and is seeking funding to launch the Overcome Academy™, a curriculum based program of leadership, resiliency, and communication skills for wounded warriors to get them back into their communities as leaders working with schools, businesses and youth mentorship programs.  The goal of the Overcome Academy is to develop our current generation of wounded warriors into the next greatest generation.

The Combat Wounded Coalition has a 6600 sq.ft. facility in Chesapeake, Virginia, a lean paid staff and an all-star team of patriot volunteers to facilitate mission accomplishment.
